ndrea Lee is a rising LPGA Tour Star, highlighted with her win in the first major event during the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee is a winner across every level. She won nine times during her time at Standford University during her collegiate tenure and spent seventeen weeks in the top spot of the world's Women's Amateur. Lee was awarded the Mark H. McCormack medal in 2019, which was her highest-ranked women's amateur at the end season. Later that year, she turned pro. Andrea Lee was born in Los Angeles on 15 August 1998. James his father, James started teaching her how to play golf when she was 5 years old. She started competing in tournaments aged 8 and was able to win 50 junior championships over the course of the span of four years. The 2014 US Women's Open was her first cut. at the age of 15 and her father along with her as a caddie. The sponsors of her invite Lee to play at the year 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour. However, she was just one shot away from the cut. Lee represented the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup and also as Women's World Amateur Team Championship. The moment she first came to Stanford University in 2016, Lee became the school's most popular player at that point. She was awarded nine championships over the course of three years. Lee was a graduate in 2018, quit Stanford University for the professional world. Her golfing career as an amateur saw her stay for 17 weeks at high in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was awarded the Mark H. McCormack medal for 2019 after she finished this year with the highest ranking of an amateur. Lee was a hole-in-one four times and one albatross as an amateur. She finished in the top 10 twice in her first year on LPGA Tour. She was 7th at the AIG Women's Open in 2020 held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was able to make an LPGA Tour debut in the Portland Classic of 2022. Lee dedicated her victory to her grandfather who passed away Min. "He was always called me a champion, and he always believed in me." She added, "I was so grateful to him. And I know he's still looking over me." She has competed before in the figure skating, soccer and Taekwondo. Lee's interests outside of golf are movies, shopping and even singing. Also, she loves to snowboard.
